Today I came across this absolutely incredible and talented man. Steven Spazuk. He paints with fire. Yes. Don't read it twice, FIRE. He uses soot to paint. It all started when he dreamt about the technique and the next morning he decided to give it a try. You can find the full interview here, which I suggest reading as it's really interesting and, it's not everyday you come across somebody with such an inovative idea and talent. Just check some examples of his work below as well and I'm sure you will be left speechless!

 Today I'm particularly attracted by art, not my personal inspirational vein, but rather art created by other people which transmits something to me, a feeling, an emotion, inspiration or maybe just awe for its beauty. Stranger on the Shore

Last night I got bored, so whilst listening to the amazing Acker Bilk (hence the title of this post) I suddenly got inspired to draw a little again, so I sketched this from a photograph I saw on tumblr yesterday :) I have missed drawing! What inspires you? Is it music? Is it a feeling of the moment? Is it a place? Where do you find your inspiration?

It's been a while since I draw. I need to have a moment of inspiration though in order to get into the "drawing-mood" otherwise I'll just get annoyed and whatever I do will not be satisfying to me. These are some old sketches from last year. I'll put more on here as I make them, but, as I said, inspiration comes and go so... we'll see when it comes next ;)
